Green Youth Expresses Disappointment with PN candidate Silvio Camilleri
ADZ – The Green Youth expressed its disappointment with the charging
of a Moviment Graffitti activist for allegedly slandering circus
promoter and PN Sliema candidate Silvio Zammit.
Andre’ Vella, ADZ chairperson said that the police action against a
Moviment Graffitti activist is disproportionate and should be
withdrawn. If anything, the NGO should be praised for raising
awareness on the exploitation of animals in circuses.
“This does not bode well for the Sliema local council. If Silvio
Camilleri will stoop so low to get back at his ideological
adversaries, he will do the same if he is elected into office. Sliema
residents have suffered enough from the futile bickering between its
local councillours, the last person they need on the council is a
petty person who is not able to tolerate and accept different view
from his own.”
There are more serious issues in the Sliema area where the police’s
time would be more beneficial to the residents.
